The Pebbles Project
“The Pebbles” is a three-year campaign launching in London in 2027, consisting of the portraits of ripple-making women from around the world. It is inspired by the dedicated work of incredible women that I have met.
The women portrayed serve missions that contribute towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
‘The Pebbles Project’ has been co-founded with my friend photographer Sebastian Böttcher and it will be exhibited in London in March 2027. Please visit: www.thepebbles.org
As part of the portrait sitting every woman is photographed with an analogue camera holding her own unique pebble in her hand, a gesture symbolizing a journey of self-exploration and the connection to her own identity, which is shaped through adversity, challenges and setbacks but also through successes, victories and a sense of mission.
